"We are on this planet to love each other,

to serve each other and to uplift each other.

We have come on this Earth to give, not to take.

Do not take pride in taking.

Give and you will be given virtues.

And that will give you God."

What is Yoga?

The traditional acceptance is union, between one's individual consciousness and the Universal Consciousness. Yoga refers to a certain state of consciousness as well as methods that help one reach a goal or state of union with the divine.

Yoga is the philosophy of happiness through spiritual wisdom. Yoga is a way to find happiness on all levels of one’s being: physically, mentally and spiritually.  Yoga has an ancient systematic approach to the problems of everyday living that is a scientifically based philosophy.

Yoga focuses on harmony between mind and body. Yoga derives its philosophy from Indian beliefs. The word yoga comes from the Sanskrit language and means union. The ultimate aim of this philosophy is to strike a balance between mind and body and attain self-enlightenment. To achieve this, yoga uses breath, posture, relaxation and meditation, in order to establish a healthy, lively and balanced approach to life.
